Omar Parker is an American film producer, media executive, and YouTuber of Lebanese-Irish descent. He began his producing career at the age of 18, shortly after he started attended Montana State University, where he graduated with honors in 2019 with a B.A. in film & photography. While in college he would meet Charlie Burt his longtime producing partner and found his first company, Egerton Crescent Productions. The company produced 28 titles in 5 years, including 22 shorts, 5 features, & 1 television pilot. These titles were official selections of festivals like Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca, Sitges, & TIFF. They also were shown in over 100 nations and had limited theatrical runs in locations like the United Kingdom, Central America, & South America.
In 2020 in the wake of the pandemic Egerton Crescent Productions closed its doors and Parker became an independent film producer. Through his boredom Parker created Captain's Log, a YouTube series based around celebrating and discussing the Star Trek fandom that gained over 200,000 subscribers before moving to an independent platform and becoming a web-series.
Since 2020, Parker has remained an independent producer, working closely with the Mahal Empire to produce over 7 horror features, working to become a name in the horror film world. Through these features and other recent efforts he has worked with a large cast of talent including Michael Madsen, Eric Roberts, Don Most, Fred Melamed, Barry Bostwick, Danielle Harris, Kevin Sorbo, Tom Sizemore, and Richard Grieco. He also has worked in business development for numerous filmtech companies in business development including Allrites & OneDay.
